The Hamilton Campus was officially opened November 2nd, 2000. It is a full functioning campus complete with modern computer labs, an Instructional Resource Centre/Library, gymnasium, large classrooms, full and part-time faculty office space, conference facilities, a board room and green spaces within the courtyards and surrounding lawns of the campus.

The campus is located in an established residential community. It is easily reached from the QEW and is accessible by public transportation.

Currently the primary user is the Faculty of Education comprised of the Department of Teacher Education, Graduate Studies in Education and Department of Continuing Teacher Education.

The Department of Teacher Education offers programs at the Primary/Junior,Junior/Intermediate and Intermediate/Senior levels. Also housed in Hamilton is the Broad-based Technology Teacher preparation stream.

It is intended that the use of the Hamilton Campus will expand as other faculties seek opportunities to offer courses within this geographic area and other initiatives are developed through the Faculty of Education and our Education Partners.
